Do something fun every day to get their minds off the impending move

Do something to relax every day while waiting

Give clear information (incomplete information is worse than no information. "I don't know but I will try to find out" is an honest answer)

Keep regular routines (mealtimes, bedtimes) and outside activities

Get social support from their peer groups Realize that emotions are often magnified under stress
